You have great hopes, dreams and plans. So you go all in, work had to make them a reality and do everything possible to get where you want to be. But, along the way, something happens and what you want so much is suddenly no longer a possibility. That’s disappointing – perhaps devastating – and you are tempted to give up, get bitter and wonder why God doesn’t love you. But it’s at that very lowest of your low moments that you can discover that God always has great plans for your life. God always is at work in your life. And God always will accomplish a wonderful thing through you, even if it’s something you never imagined. So trust God. Look to God for what’s next. Let God go to work in your life in only the way God can work. And wait and see what God’s up to next.

YouthWorker Movement Questions to Consider:
What are your hopes and dreams of today?
What were some of your hopes and dreams 5 years ago? 10years ago?
How do you handle disappointment?
What do you do when you feel devastated by life and circumstances?
Where is God in your life right now? How is God shaping you?
What hopes and dreams does God have for you?
[You may find it helpful to spend a day on each question and write down your responses. Write whatever comes to mind without judgement. Then take some time to carefully pray through what you have written. And take time to listen because God is talking to you.]
