Join Us for a May #YouthMinPhoto a Day Contest

May Photo ChallengeLooking for a creative way to use Instagram in your youth ministry?  Join the YouthWorker Movement Photo a Day Challenge for May, and invite your youth to participate as well.

How the Photo Challenge works:

The picture above has a list of 31 words or themes, one for each day of May.

Every day, take a picture representing the daily theme using Instagram and share it on your Twitter and/or Facebook with the hashtag “#youthminphoto” and “@ywmovement”.  (If you don’t know what we’re talking about here, ask the youth in your group that use Instagram to show you how.)

Throughout the month, the photos submitted will show up on the YouthWorker Movement’s homepage in the Twitter feed.  Each week we will select top photos to feature in articles about the contest.  Just think, you could have your 15 minutes of fame!

Cool to note: The list was created mostly by some amazing high school students who attend my weekly Bible study.  We will be incorporating the weekly words and images into our Bible study.  These youth will also be participating in the photo challenge.  To invite your own youth to participate, share this article on your Facebook pages and Twitter, copy and share the photo above.
